Dear Students and Families,
Welcome to February!
As we turn the page from January into February, we’re reminded just how unpredictable winter can be. These cold temperatures and recent snow days have certainly made this past month memorable, and while the weather may have disrupted our usual routines, it has also provided an opportunity to pause, reset, and make the most of some unexpected time.
While snow days may look like a break on the calendar, our staff has remained hard at work behind the scenes. Even during this time, we've been planning and thinking ahead to the coming weeks. At the JVS we are committed to our students success, regardless of the weather.
For our students, the past week was the perfect opportunity to slow down a bit. Whether that meant enjoying snow-filled activities, spending time with family, or getting caught up on assignments. While we hope this extra time was enjoyed, we’re ready to return to school and refocus on learning, skill-building, and program success (weather permitting).
We look forward to the weeks ahead as our students get back into their hands-on learning, career exploration, and the experiences that help them soar high and succeed big.
Here’s to a productive, engaging, and successful February—stay warm and let's keep moving forward together.
Sincerely,
Heather A. Hoover
